Positive: The apartments are absolutely stunning. The building itself, the furnishings, the decor, all of it. I particularly enjoyed the photos of the building during various stages of construction which were hung on the walls. The gentleman at the reception desk was also lovely, very helpful, and made me feel completely safe and at ease (an important factor for solo female guests).
Negative: I honestly wish I could say there was nothing to dislike, because there is so much to love here, but the two things I disliked happened to be a couple of my pet hates. The room itself was immaculately clean, as was the bathroom, until I lifted the lid on the toilet - urine spots on the seat 😬 While housekeeping probably should have noticed this, I don't necessarily blame them, because I thoroughly believe that we should all be personally responsible for where out waste goes. This falls on the previous guest. If you can't aim it, sit down. The other issue was discovering, only once I'd put conditioner in my hair, that the hot water supply is very limited. Thankfully the shower head was detachable, so I was able to lean over and rinse the conditioner out without ending up drenched in cold water. However, it did mean I didn't get to finish washing the rest of my body, which felt a little gross. Perhaps just a note or sign warning guests of approximately how long the hot water runs would give them the heads up so they don't get caught with a head full of conditioner and no hot water with which to rinse it out.
Summary: A lovely relaxing break from the chaos of home.
